Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She's an American-Mexican actress. She also sings. Her mother raised her in the USA in a place where she endured several racial stereotypes, which made her feel like someone who was not wanted. In her 9th grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim at an audition. The singer not only gained confidence because of the experience however, she also re-evaluate her career goals. The 22-year-old graduated with a degree from the Julliard School in New York. As she was turning 23, she started her journey in Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, aged 23 she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. However her greatest breakthrough came when she appeared in the part of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway show Spamalot receiving not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. The following year, she appeared on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider acceptance for the role. She is known as a performer and also released a single and an extended show. She's also an activist who fights for LGBT rights.
