Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on July 22, 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. She was chosen to be the leading character on the Australian soap opera Home and Away because her performance on this particular part was so captivating that the casting agents requested her for the different parts. Although she did try out for the role, she was not chosen. The role was instead set on the show as Cassie Turner. She is a troubled girl who lives with foster parents. Her character was highly appreciated by the fans and viewers on the program. To honor her performance the show, she received two nominations in The Young Artist Awards. After that, she was a renowned television actress in a variety of TV films. These included A Friend to Die For that was released in 1993 A Carol Christmas in 2002 and The Last Sharknado (It's About Time) in 2018. In the following years, she began to appear in independent films like The House of Yes released in 1997. Scary film 2 in 2001 Kiss the Bride (2007) as well as Izzie's Way Home (2016). In 2019 she recast Donna Martin's role in Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off.
